The Irish Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) registered a solid 0.5% gain in May, albeit annual inflation slowed to 2.8%. In Dublin, house prices rose by 0.7%, breaking six months of consecutive declines, with annual inflation picking up marginally to 0.4%. The RPPI price data suggest the housing market bounced back in Q2 2019 after Brexit uncertainties depressed activity early in the year.
