The latest update of the Residential Property Price Register shows €8.3bn of transactions so far in 2018, up 25% on last year. Poor weather held back activity early in 2018 but transactions have rebounded, up very sharply in July because of a delayed summer trading season. The latest strong transactions data give us more confidence the mortgage market will grow towards €9bn in 2018.
